  1. this is the second scam post i have received what do theses people think we a stupid? if i sent everything the responce back to me would be sent to much money thake what i owe you and send me a money order fast to western union.. why i know this is because i went threw the steps with the first one except sending the money.. theses people need to be caught so they dont get some old person that has so much trust in people…thank you

  3. I received EXACTLY the same e-mail as printed above – originally made the mistake of sending him my mailing address, then he came back with:

    I presume we seal this a deal? I’ll contact my secretary so
    that payment will be issued out to you …please i want you to
    consider the item sold and keep off other interested buyers
    that would make inquiry Coz am totally committed to buy it .

    Like I said in my earlier message that pick up and mover’s
    fee will be included in your payment, so upon cash of check
    you’ll make the pick up money payable to the movers and the
    movers would arrange appropriate time for pick up at your
    place,(Am trying to furnish my new home so i have other
    properties to be move)I believe this is based on trust and I
    hope I can trust you to get this done for me??Email me back

    If I didn’t see red flags before, I saw them after THIS e-mail!! So I told him that w/o cash in hand AND a phone number for this guy, the deal was off because it’s too much like the many scams out there. No further response from him, but then today I received (via FedEx) an envelope with no letter or communication of any sort, printed (supposedly) by Farmers and Merchants Bank in Long Beach, CA on behalf of the “Monex Deposit Company” in Newport Beach, CA, for $1,900, which is around $1,600 more than we were charging for our item. The address on the envelope is from Quality Gold, in Fairfield, OH. Isn’t there SOMEONE we can’ report this to??
