I discussed it with my boyfriend, his only concern is the insurance on it. It’s pretty much a done deal if I can show him that we can afford it. I am at work and our hospital restricted the sites we can go to to intranet only ๐ Can you run a quick insurance estimate onย http://XXXautoquotes.comย and email it to me so I can show him when he would be picking me up from work today?? It should take only a minute: I am local, 26, without any tickets. We really need to solve the car problem asap ๐ Last time I was on the phone with American Family it took me 2 hours… Thank you so much!
Wow, I’m glad I googled the contents of the message I received on Craigslist.
One of those scammers sent me the exact message as this today!
I was almost fool enough to go to the website, which was the only part of the message that was different.
Instead of the forwarding website you posted, this scammer tried to send me to: http://prontoautoXXX.com
And the email address from the scammer is: Adena@d3au.com
did it to me today also. first started out asking if I had the work history which I responded to … then gave the exact same spill as above. used the name janai@d3au.com .. I recognized it was a scam … too bizarre of a request. lol
same wording…same everything. watchout for scammers. thieves.
They tried it on me Today as well! But glad I searched it!

same deal with me. same boyfirend story and run an isurance check for me.
Ditto to the above, 06/06/2012. Thank goodness I queried on the internet. Gave them vehicle history but then I found this site. Went by the name of Jacinda [Jacinda@d3au.com]
First response – Hi! Hows the over all condition and would there be any work needed upon purchase?
Whats the vin?
thank you! – jalyn@d3au.com

Ugh I hate scammers
I had the same experience with a car i am posting for sale on craigslist. same story to check on an insurance quote, and i almost went through with it when putting my own information, at which point i said nahhh. And i had others asking me for the VIN number. I mean why would they need a VIN number ? I still havent sold the car as of today 08-11-12 if any one is interested here in the long beach/los angeles area here is the link http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lgb/cto/3198926954.html

Just got an email from Abril@d3au.com asking when the last oil change was done and if they could do a Pre purchase inspection. I made the mistake of giving them my phone number, but I’m glad I read this before anything else happens.
I knew that @d3au domain was fishy. Thanks for the heads up.
Latest email was from “Adrianne@d3au.com”
I knew the d3au.com seemed strange, so glad I goggled it. But beware they are using different front names now. Here is what I got!
