Hi, You should consider it sold .Actually ,I am buying it for someone and payment would be through PayPal . I am working in a ship and presently, i am out to sea.So it is a pick up agent that would be coming for the pick up.So i would like you to forward your Paypal email add. and name with more pictures . I would be expecting your prompt reply, with the name and the email address on your PayPal account so that i could make the payment asap and i will appreciate if you could send more pics as i would not be seeing it in person and pick up should be at a designated place or your residence. And, lastly , i am offering additional $ 100 to your final price for you to keep it off from other offers.

  2. I got these exact same messages yesterday. This is not the first time I have seen the ruse as being out at sea. I was immediately suspicious. I replied to “Jim” that I didn’t have a paypal account and he should give the money to his agent and when the agent came to pick up the car he could pay me in cash. LOL Never heard another word from him. I reported him as a scammer. You know what they say “If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is”.

  3. I got the same emails asking the same things. I have a motorcycle posted for sale and have received 3 emails all wanting my paypal account. Definitely beware of any responses to craigslist ads and search out the people before you ever give out any info or responses. It completely sucks that the scammers are preying on craigslist ads and I don’t doubt that craigslist is a willing participant in the scamming. Nothing comes for free even ads on the in the internet. Also add the phone numbers 614-385-0896 and 920-644-3238 for text messages that I received asking for paypal.
